Benefit Body & Mind UK CIC
As a Community Interest Company, our mission is to create sustainable changes in both individual and community lives as we promote positive behavioral changes through the power of exercise. Activity levels decrease as deprivation increases (NHS, 2024), with programs aiming to increase physical activity often failing to reach deprived communities and those in need. The reduced services often lead to less social engagement and thus increased social isolation, a key driver of poor quality of life. Benefit Body and Mind UK CIC addresses these issues by delivering tailored interventions directly into these communities. Public Health England's research shows that effective interventions in low socio-economic areas are those that are community-led, support social connection, and are flexible and diverse in their approach—principles that underpin our service delivery model.
Our community sessions are inclusive, welcoming, and designed to meet people where they’re at. They blend movement, mindset coaching, and emotional support to help participants feel better — physically, mentally, and socially. We currently offer:
🧘♀️ Gentle exercise classes for mental health and mobility
💬 Mindset and wellbeing workshops
🧠 Programmes that support mental resilience through movement
🧑🤝🧑 Friendly, non-judgemental spaces that reduce isolation
🚌 Sessions in local venues to reduce travel and accessibility issues
All sessions are free or at a reduced cost to participants, thanks to funding, partnerships, and our commitment to reinvesting in the community.

Why It Matters
We know that when people feel better in their bodies, they start to feel more hopeful, confident, and connected. But too often, those who need support the most are the ones with the least access to it.
Through our CIC work, we’re changing that — one session, one smile, one small win at a time.
