My Story
Hi, I’m Billie – founder of Benefit Body and Mind. Movement has always been part of who I am. From a young age, I threw myself into sports and fitness, not realising then just how much it helped me mentally, not just physically.
As I got older, I started to notice people around me — especially friends juggling uni, work, and stress — struggling to stay active. I saw how hard it was to prioritise wellbeing when your mind is heavy and time is tight. That stuck with me. I knew I wanted to create something that made it easier for people to move, feel supported, and look after their whole self, and that we should all be able to look after our physical and mental wellbeing regardless of our circumstances.
Why I Do This
I created Benefit Body and Mind because I believe that movement can change lives — not just by building strength or improving fitness, but by supporting mental health, confidence, and everyday resilience.
For me, this isn’t about punishing workouts or quick fixes. It’s about showing people that any kind of movement matters, and that your wellbeing isn’t just what happens during the one-hour session — it’s what you carry with you in the six days after.
I’m here for the in-between bits, the check-ins, the “I had a rough day” messages, and the small wins that don’t always show on a scale. This is training for your body and your brain — and I care deeply about both.
What lights me up most is seeing the shift in people’s confidence. Watching clients grow stronger mentally and emotionally — not just physically — is why I do what I do.

- Level 4 Exercise for Mental Health
- Mental Health First Aid trained
